Career Transitions is currently recruiting a Motion Specialist for a client located just east of Ann Arbor, MI. This global client is a leading safety automation equipment company that has been in business since xxxx. This is a full:time, direct hire position. Must be willing to travel 30 : 40; local and national.
Job Description
:Serve as technical product resource for the Sales Engineers
:Assist in the development and maintenance of motion control business and marketing plans
:Discover and develop new opportunities and/or applications for the motion control product line
:Coordinate with Engineering and/or Technical Support to assist Sales Engineers and customers as needed
:Provide support for Application Engineers and training for Sales Engineers and customers as needed for all advanced products
:Generate technical proposals
Minimum Qualifications
:Bachelors degree in Electrical, Control Engineering or similar technical program; 2 years direct experience with all aspects of motion control systems including specifying, initializing, and supporting new systems or an Associates degree in Electrical, Control Engineering or similar technical program with 5 years motion experience
:General knowledge of automation (i.e. PLC, HMI, etc.)
:Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
