Job Description: BCABA
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The BCABA will demonstrate the ability to follow and complete all of the job requirements of a Behavior Therapist and Lead Behavior Therapist. He/she will follow a specialized plan of service for the clients served by A&C Behavioral Solutions / Kendall Behavioral Services. He/she will also serve to assist in development of the program materials and communication systems required for effective implementation of the specialized plan of service. Clients are defined as persons with developmental disabilities, learning disability, autism, attention deficit disorders, traumatic brain injury and other forms of mental health or developmental concerns. In addition to each of these skills the Clinical Assistant will serve as an immediate support to the Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Owner by participating in each of the additional duties described below.
The Clinical Assistant shall have a strong commitment to the organizational philosophy, mission, policies and procedures and shall meet the requirement of state, federal, and local employment regulations, as well as licensing, certification and contractual guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain a therapeutic environment in the office that is specific to providing therapy.
Provide 1:1 therapy to the child either in the child?s home, community or A&C Behavioral Solutions center
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Delivers of Advanced Therapy Techniques
Serves as an immediate assistant to the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Manages inquiry into new targets are needed in the data sheet and program
Serves as a role model, skill model and demonstrator of therapeutic technique to all staff at all times
Participates in and conducts introductory new Behavior Therapist training to ensure his/her understanding and utilization of company procedures in key areas
Submits written documentation as required by A&C Behavioral Solutions and the child?s insurance company
Management and acceptance of personal feedback
Engage in behaviors consistent with our comittment to professionalism and ethics
Attends ongoing continuing education as scheduled and required by A&C Behavioral Solutions
Any additional duties assigned by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Alicia Kendall
Job Description: Behavior Therapist

Schedules and participates in feedback, training and other guidance across varying formats including but not limited to electronic transmission, video, and live observation
Accepts feedback, training, supervision and other guidance well.
Implements feedback, training, supervision and other guidance accurately.
Submits scheduling in a timely man
Submit written documentation as required by A&C Behavioral Solutions and the child?s insurance compan
Communicates effectively and quickly regarding all issues with a client to the Board Certified Behavior Analyst via telephone, text and email formats
Engage in behaviors consistent with our comittment to professionalism and ethics
Attends ongoing continuing education as scheduled and required by A&C Behavioral Solutions
Request meetings with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Alicia Kendall to review the client services plans and the need for adjustments, supplies, equipment, staffing, behavioral or customer service issues
Any additional duties assigned by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Alicia Kendall
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Hiring is based on the qualifications of the applicant, as determined in the sole discretion of the employer. The following qualifications and requirements are not all inclusive. Any employee hired must be at least 18 years of age.
A college degree, or progress toward a college degree, in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, social work, or other related field
Where state and board licensing is required, maintains licensing and certification without current censorship
Experience working with children
Experience working with persons with disabilities is preferred
Safe, reliable transportation
Must be suitable to meet the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of each client.
Must be capable of appropriately handling emergency situations.
Must be capable of assuring program implementation of services to clients in a manner that is consistent with the worksite/home?s program report and in accordance with the client?s assessment plan.
Must be competent in all of the following areas:
First Aid
Knowledge of needs of the population being served
Must be in such physical and mental health so as not to negatively affect either the health of the client or the quality of his/her care.
