Responsibilities
A new full time ambulatory CRNA opportunity is available with the Henry Ford Medical Group.
Note: Applicants must possess their Michigan Nurse Anesthetist license in order to be considered for the position.
This position will work at multiple sites within our suburban medical centers. They are located in Novi, Dearborn, Sterling Heights, and Grosse Pointe Farms.
Some days could be split at more than one location. Applicants must be willing to travel to the four sites. Mileage and travel time is paid if work at more than one site is required on the same day.
Applicants must have their own reliable personal vehicle and be flexible on the shift ending time.
The supervisor attempts to schedule the CRNAs to the closest medical center but one must be able to commute to all sites.
Position: Full time 40 hours
Shift: Variable shift start times depending on scheduled procedures

Salary: Flat rate of 83.18 per hour
Ambulatory Surgeries will be for ortho, colonoscopy, ENT, healthy Peds, Podiatry, plastic and general surgeries.
Major Responsibilities:
Conducts appropriate pre:anesthetic assessments, and document findings.
In collaboration with the anesthesiologist, determines the appropriate anesthetic plan of management, manages all aspects of anesthesia care to include preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative care.
Maintains complete and accurate documentation of care for all procedures.
Provides airway management and/or intubations for emergent, non:emergent, and resuscitation situations throughout the hospital.
Anticipates and exceeds patients and customers expectations that meet all elements of the Henry Ford Experience.
Maintains compliance with regulatory standards regarding practice, environment and documentation.
Maintains knowledge and skills in appropriate technology.
Provides education for staff, colleagues, patients, and/or families. Precepts new staff and students as requested. Provides and documents individualized patient and family education.
Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia. Previous Minimum of 3 years CRNA experience preferred.
Successful completion of HFH Critical Care Course, must be completed within 6 months of hire.
Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Certification to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist and maintenance of certification as required by guidelines established by the Council on Recertification and by the State of Michigan.
