Our plan is to have radio stations for every style of music, every style except bluegrass that is. We refuse to play bluegrass of any type. We have nothing against that style of music. We just think banjos are scary.

The business model behind CowBellRadio.com is a bit different from the other unsigned band websites. Once we have enough music in the system to get a few stations up and running our business model is designed to get your music off the site and into the real world. That is all we can tell you right now. It is some top secret stuff.

CowBellRadio.com is comprised of musicians that love and play music. It is the whole reason that we started this thing in the first place. The music industry has dramatically changed over the past few years. These changes have had a pretty dramatic effect on signed artists. There are less of them getting great paychecks. Those checks are also a far cry from the checks that bands were getting in the 80s and early 90s.
