Accounts Payable Analyst VAN BUREN TWP., MI Primary Responsibilities Located at Grace Lake Corporate Center (GLCC) in Van Buren Twp., Michigan, the Accounts Payable Analyst will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. This person will primarily have responsibilities covering payable analytics, account reconciliations, and administration of all manual and automatic payment requests. This person will have detailed understanding of advanced accounting concepts and processes setup. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Typical Duties Administer all manual and automatic payment requests Generate and explain standard reports measuring the effectiveness of the Accounts Payable Function Perform detailed account reconciliations relating to the Accounts Payable activity Maintain KPI performance documents Sort and distribute incoming mail Create journal entries Create manual vouchers Maintain supplier set-up and banking requirements AP Forecasting Requirements Years of Experience: Three (3) to ten (10) years related experience Degree Strongly Preferred: BS/BA Business (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration) Desired Competencies/Experience Demonstrated ability to develop accounting process set up's Familiarity with QAD, SAP, or similar ERP-based ledgers Able to effectively apply technology to improve business practices (by using advanced spread sheets, databases, etc.) Support and/or lead cross functional teams Demonstrated ability to make proper accounting decisions Familiarity with tracing ERP transactions from end-to-end. Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated effectiveness working on, and leading, global project teams. Able to effectively establish relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers. BS/BA Business (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration) 3+ years Account Payables experience in addition to 4+ years of related experience Special Requirements (ie Overtime, Travel, etc.): Occasional travel required (domestic and international).
