Privately held manufacturing company is seeking a strategic thinking Controller to join their team as they achieve the next phase of growth and success. As the Controller you will be supporting the President and General Manager and will be a key member of the Senior Management Team. 3 Main reasons to consider this opportunity: 1. Responsibilities: Oversee the division’s accounting and Finance functions Prepare and perform monthly close, financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting Analyze and interpret financial data Prepare financial statements and various tax reports Direct all activities of the accounting group and provide strategic plans. Assist in and coordinate year end and other audits. Analysis of financial and operating information Prepare annual business plan and quarterly forecasts. Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions Requirements: Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with an ERP system, ERP implementation experience is highly desired. Experience: Must have a minimum of 5+ years accounting and finance experience as a Controller in a manufacturing environment. Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field us required. CPA preferred.
