Role Summary/Purpose: The incumbent of this role is responsible for providing application solutions to the business community and management of multiple projects. The Lead Technical Developer will interact with business analysts, GE Treasury IT, third party vendors to provide solutions for the business.
Essential Responsibilities: The incumbent will be operating to provide solutions in one or more of the following areas:
: Systems Integration using Service Oriented Architecture, JMS, Enterprise Data Interfaces (EDI) and third party vendor systems
: Programming tools Java/J2EE, JMS, Active MQ etc.
: Scripting using Python, Perl or shell scripting
: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development with RDBMS development skills
Essential Responsibilities:
: Integration of various solution components using variety of tools and languages for a suite of financial applications.
: Lead discussions with technical and business teams regarding implementation and design of solutions.
: Provide test strategy and acceptance criteria for vendor developed code.
: Evaluate and provide expertise to integrate third party developed applications.
: Provide design and implementation for new functionality and enhancements.
: Ensure compliance to, and participate in enhancing documented IT standards..
: Provide leadership to the business in analysis, data modeling, architecture and deployment.
: Provide ad hoc support on rotation basis.
: Provide expertise about standard practices on coding standards, BI, OLTP and SOA.
: Identify major areas of systems improvement, automation and optimization.
: Proactively identify areas of improvement and drive results.
: Adhere to the requirements and guidelines of the Treasury System Development Life Cycle in designing and implementing solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline (or in lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED and a minimum 4 years of related work experience)
: Minimum 5 years of previous experience in IT as a Developer or Analyst
: Minimum 5 years of experience in Java programming language
: Minimum 2 years of experience in JMS or other enterprise messaging platform for integration
: Minimum 1 year of experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based tool
: Minimum 1 year of experience in Oracle SQL and PL / SQL
: Minimum 2 years of experience on Unix / Linux platform
Eligibility Requirements:
