Novi:based boutique investment advisory firm seeks seeks a dynamic, self:starter to assist with marketing efforts. This position is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of hands:on marketing, while working in the financial industry. The applicant should be prepared to work in a fast:paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of finance and marketing. This position has the potential for growth and advancement
Responsibilities:
:Update and maintain the firms social media presence
:Draft, distribute and pitch news releases, media alerts and other stories
:Designing flyers, graphics, invitations and other marketing material for events hosted by the firm
:Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and client events
:Update the firms website
Hours: 15:30 hours/week
Applicants must be:
:Highly motivated and energetic with good communication and interpersonal skills
:Have a firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space.
:Computer proficient (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel)
:An effective communicator, both written and oral
:Self:motivated with good organizational skills
:Detail:oriented, able to prioritize, multi:task and meet deadlines
:Possess a minimum 3.0 GPA
:Working toward a degree in a marketing field
