Oversees accounting staff and assists VP Treasurer as neededResponsible for all aspects of daily accounting and cash flow Maintains multiple ledgers and efficiently uses MAS90 accounting system for recording and reportingPrepares financial statements and supporting schedulesMonitors inventoriesOversight of bank and financial audits with external auditorsPrepares and analyzes various management reportsOversees cost accounting processes and analysisSupports the companys mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activitiesQUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIESBachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of experience, preferably several at the Senior Accountant (or equivalent) levelManufacturing environment experience requiredCPA or CMA license preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with accounting software programs; MAS90 a plus.Ability to lead, develop and supervise direct reportsExcellent oral, written communication and presentation skillsAble to multi-task and use exceptional organizational skillsAbility to analyze problems, exercise judgment and make sound objective decisionsWillingness to travel, including 1-2 days to the Jackson, MI facility
