Job Details
We are seeking a self-motivated, client-focused Senior Accountant/Manager to join our team.
This individual will be responsible for managing accounting and auditing engagements including preparation of complex work papers, work paper review, report preparation, client communications and coordination of the delivery of all firm services, assurance, tax and consulting. Candidate must be a leader with willingness to mentor and develop staff and facilitate excellent interdepartmental communications. Candidate will be expected to proactively assist with business development and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
? Manages the preparation of a broad range of accounting and tax engagements
? Identifies, documents and resolves technical issues of high complexity; assists lower-level associates with resolution of issues
? Identifies changes in laws, regulations, or client situations that may require a change in approach or methodology for the client
? Directs and monitors the work of intern, staff and senior level associates
? Identifies opportunities for providing additional services to current clients
? Participates in activities to generate business with new clients

Requirements
? Candidates must have 3 years of experience in public accounting
? Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
? Candidate should have the ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion
? Ability to self-direct, and manage multiple deadlines
? Ability to lead and motivate Intern, Staff and Senior level associates
? Licensed CPA (preferred) or CPA candidate
? Career oriented, seeking advancement
? Strong GAAP and Job Management experience
