Alex Brands, LLC Senior Accounts Receivable Representative About the Job The Senior AR Representative will be in charge of collecting on aging report of 300+ existing customers. This position will report to the Manager and or Director of Accounts Receivable and will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the AR department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, * Making 25+ collection calls on a daily basis. * Managing 300-400 assigned accounts, high dollar collection accounts within Mass Merchandisers Market. * Arranging for debt payment or establishing payment schedules based on customer’s financial situations. * Heavy reconciliation volume * Constantly following up with customers to ensure a repayment on chargeback. * Utilizing retailers Portals for payments as well as chargeback detail. * Processing customer credits while working with Sales and Customer Service. * Resolving unpaid balances, advising customer of necessary action steps and useful strategies for repayment. * Maintaining a status report for assigned accounts through goal driven metrics. * Reviewing the terms of sales contracts and sales allowance with customers. * Performing various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes, sorting & answering correspondences. * Monitoring overdue accounts, using 2 separate ERP systems (Sage and Oracle). What we’re looking for * MUST HAVE: 3-5 years’ experience making heavy collection calls, min 25 +calls per day in a fast paced environment. * Experience managing an aging report of at least 300 accounts . * Great energy and “can-do" attitude. * Creative problem solver with great customer service skills. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, & Word. * Possess a high sense of urgency, well organized and must be detail-oriented. * The candidate must have the a minimum of an Associate’s Degree. They must be able to work in an ever-changing, fast paced, results-oriented organization. ยท He/she must have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles including best practices. * Finally, the candidate must work cooperatively with the Sales, IT Operations and Finance teams.
