We are a Non-Profit community based organization seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to work with-in the accounting department in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a full-time position with benefits. Responsibilities: Support the Chief Financial Officer and department in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department Processing Accounts Payable Processing Payroll and government reporting Close month end financial reports Prepare journal entries Track prepaid expenses Allocate costs to various cost centers Process employee expense reports Account reconciliation Document and evaluate current procedures Help with yearend audit Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time Job Requirements Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in accounting 3-5 years experience in accounting Highly skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets, Word Documents Must have excellent work habits, including good organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
