I'm looking for a room in either Ann Arbor or Ypsi for $400 or less, utilities included. I?m a 30yo female, work FT at UofM, go to school almost FT at WCC, eager to cooperate to create an environment of relaxation, domesticity and a generally good time : ) I try to keep common areas pretty clean, because I feel bad if I make a mess and somebody else has to deal with it. I work M-F and leave around 7am- night noise is okay as long as my box fan can kinda drown it out while I fall asleep. My upside: -financially reliable (FT cust service/admin work, have had this UM position now for 2 +yr, have always paid a car loan, insurance etc) -respectful and considerate, probably too concerned with others' preferences -social and get along well with most everyone -Not in the habit of hosting parties or having any friends over, usually go out to see friends -like to keep common areas clean, esp bathroom and kitchen!! I've been the sole bathroom cleaner in the last two places i lived...except honestly I probably only scrub the shower every couple months if it looks dirty ;) -am open and communicative -rarely cook, and mostly use a crockpot if I do -every few weeks I'll bake something and I like to share! -love kids and pets (yep, I'm the person at the party in the corner petting the dog) My 'downside': -I'm a smoker, although I prefer *non-smoking indoors*. Also a lot of people are turned off by someone saying they're 420 friendly, but I am, and I'm completely responsible and sane, so I won't click with anyone that just offhand "hates druggies". Please please please understand I do NOT want to live in a party house! I just want to settle into someplace while I get through school, and I can't afford a place on my own.
