Job Details
Small, rapidly growing developer and distributor of innovative, ergonomic lawn and garden products needs a smart, motivated Sales and Marketing Assistant to help grow our sales, work with retailers and distributors, maintain our customer relationship management databases, create/execute e-marketing campaigns, and support trade show logistics.
ESSENTIAL Activities
? Reach out to current and past customers and help them decide to purchase our products
? Help create sales presentations, proposals, agreements, sales orders, invoices, credit memos, etc.; verify and correct document, terminology, specifications
? Assist with customer events, trade shows, campaigns, etc. Manage trade show logistics
? Assist with sales reports and ad hoc reporting. Develop expertise in retailer POS systems such as Retail Link for Wal-Mart and VendorNet for Meijer
? Periodically update and validate our customer databases with product information
? Take the daily technical lead on our Amazon relationship
? Create, enhance, evolve, and maintain e-marketing and social media marketing campaigns
? Provide administrative support, including phone support and ordering supplies
Requirements
? High-level facility with of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
? Excellent writing skills
? Familiarity with internet and web resources
? Passion, superior work ethics and proven organizational skills
? Ability to juggle, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
? Ability to play on a team
? Willingness to travel
