This HRIS Analyst is responsible for providing technical guidance and analysis through the administration and development of human resources systems HRIS Analyst Responsibilities: HRIS Analyst Northville Position Summary: This HRIS Analyst is responsible for providing technical guidance and analysis through the administration and development of human resources systems and databases in order to improve operational efficiencies and current informational processes and programs within the corporate human resources department. Position Responsibilities: * Provide daily technical expertise and guidance for ZF Aspire and other HR information systems to end-users and HR site administrators; this involves on-site and remote trainings for plant personnel and management. * Create, edit and distribute HRIS-related data and reports; understand and analyze outputs of aggregate data. * Gather, analyze, document, and program changes/enhancements in conjunction with HR and other departments (e.g. engineering, IT, purchasing, etc.) in order to develop HR-related databases, e-learning modules, and software to support departmental and company initiatives. * Participate in the development of technical and customer specifications for the IT hardware/software purchases as well as the development of contract specifications for proper integration and cost efficiencies. * Troubleshoot user issues and develop training/documentation for HR information systems. * Ensure data integrity and systems security through adherence to HR best practices and corporate information security protocol. * Perform audits HRIS-related data and records as requested by management and other locations. * Maintain and update a variety of department files, lists, databases, charts, and worksheets. * Participate in continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts. * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing andexpanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies. * Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in HR, Organizational Development, Computer Science, IT, or related field * 3+ years of experience in the administration/development of information systems relating to a HR function * 2+ years of experience providing technical support to customers and/or end-users * Experience with a learning management system, general HR database, and/or applicant tracking system * Working knowledge of HR processes, procedures, roles and employment law fundamentals * Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) * Proven analytical abilities with a high-level of attention to detail * Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment * Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management * Good verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills and experience: * Experience with SAP * Experience with ADP Enterprise * Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand * Experience in the Automotive industry * German and/or Spanish language skills * Willingness to travel (up to 15%) ZF North America, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
