Sr.Network/Security Engineer- Ann Arbor, MI- 2 yrs Contract The TechOps Security Analyst role will be integrated with the technical operations team, providing security expertise to monitoring, network security, patching and technical standards adherence. This individual will work closely with the security architect for a comprehensive approach to technical security for the organization. Responsibilities * Installation, configuration, monitoring and response to security systems and processes * Support day-to-day administration of the network including integration points via VPN, access lists, etc. * Manage security alerts and logs including IDS, IPS, AV/M, Tripwire, Alert Logic and others * Prioritize and help drive security patching of systems based on vulnerability assessments * Work with our managed hosting vendor on procuring, applying, maintaining and managing security solutions * Work with our internal client operations and others to ensure the secure exchange of data with customers and vendors * Work with the architecture and operations teams to ensure proper security standards and support processes are being followed Requirements * Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices * Working experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems * Experience with software and security architectures * Strong communications skills, both written and oral * Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver * 5 years of experience in information technology or security * Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computers, Technology or related field. CISSP strongly preferred.
