Job Description:/h3:
The position of Project Controller is a primary contributor to the business planning function for the Company. The positions task is to determine, evaluate and quantify the relevant factors necessary to prepare a business case analysis regarding new programs or projects. The business case analysis must be of a caliber to be incorporated into an overall business and manufacturing strategic plan for the Company.
:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Prepare, analyze and report current program financial status. (Monthly customer reviews, gate approval process, PIP.)
:Develop, prepare, analyze and report new program financial status. (Acquisition stage, scenario preparation and analysis.)
:Product:to:product comparison. (Benchmarking.)
:Location:to:location comparison.
:Team input analysis and estimation. (BOM, material costs and tooling, manufacturing costs and investment, logistics costs, development costs.)
:Check quotation and implement in program financial reporting.
:Investment analysis. (VAVE, engineering changes.)
:Change management. (Review, implement in:program financial reporting.)
:Special project/scenario analysis.
:Cost walk/cost breakdown.
:Identification of key cost drivers in program financial reporting.
:Support long term planning and budget process.
:Lead/participate in cross functional team.
:Interface with global team members.

Bachelors or equivalent experience

Experience preferred in the following areas: Automotive project controlling or project management; automotive business case/investment analysis; benchmarking; scenario analysis;
leading/participating multi:disciplinary team, understanding BOM structure and complexity; estimating material costs and tooling from drawings or comparison; estimating manufacturing time and investment; estimating inbound/outbound freight, packaging, handling and duties; estimating development investment; reading and understanding automotive business/customer practices; experience in preparation and present of cash flow based IA; core team member in change management process; working with entire value chain (customer to supplier); budgeting and forecasting; presentations to management team.
Preferred skills: Financial metrics/standard (NPV, time value of money, cash flow, working capital, depreciation, amortization, interest calculation, margin); accuracy/work quality (teamwork); effective communication (to peers, managers, presentations, escalation); time
